QMDJ June 2024 Forecast

The new solar month, Geng Wu 庚午 begins on the 5th of June 2024.

The first day, Geng Zi 庚子, aligning with the 29th day of the lunar cycle, emphasizes the importance of endings and the potential for new beginnings. This day is a part of the Black Moon period, with its strong Yin Qi. It suggests a time for introspection, healing, and closure rather than initiating new ventures.

The clash between Zi (Rat) and Wu (Horse), both carrying the 庚 Geng (Yang Metal) heavenly stem, symbolizes a dynamic tension between the opposing forces. This could manifest as heightened conflict or discord in world events, such as increased military activity or political unrest.

In Qi Men Dun Jia, the 庚午 Geng Wu pillar is represented by the heavenly stem 戊 Wu (Yang Earth), and its implications for capital, real estate, and the global economy suggest that economic shifts and development are likely to be prominent during this period.

The annual Purple Whie Star (PWS)#8 (土 Earth) is in 坎 Kan (水 Water). In this position, it is exceptionally weak, as it gets drained by the 金 Metal components. In fact, it is so weak that it cannot go on without transforming. In July, Kan Palace is hosting the PWS#5.

During the 庚午 Geng Wu month, the PWS #1 is governing Luo Shu. It relates to 坎 Kan trigram (水Water). Its interaction with the fiery components at the centre (丙丙 stem combination (Yang Fire), Beast (Fire) and PWS#3 (木 Wood) could lead to unpleasant effects, much like water spilling onto a hot plate, or rather oil added to fire.

Whenever Fire gets disturbed, we see numerous fire-related accidents, buildings in flames, cars set alight, arson attacks, etc. The 天禽 Beast at the centre is strong enough to create utter chaos by itself, but here it is aided by the totally unpredictable PWS#3 (震 Zhen, Thunder trigram, 木 Wood).

This trend is very strong, especially considering that the monthly PWS#5 is flying into 离 Li (火Fire element). The countering between the Fire (景 Scene and 天英 Grace) and the Metal elements (辛辛, 白虎 Tiger & PWS#7) is never civilized. It can be dramatic. In real events, such a standoff may translate into terrorist attacks, bombings, and fire in central locations, such as shopping malls or public entertainment venues.

In terms of the event trends, we are likely to see the following:

  • Energy supply disruptions and power cuts for many people
  • Inflation worsening
  • Increased instability on the currency markets
  • Major transportation accidents
  • Plane crashes in the mountainous regions
  • Military transport or passenger vehicles plunging into the water
  • Burst pipes at central (public) locations
  • Sex scandals involving religious leaders or politicians
  • Incidents in hospital maternity wards
  • Young children falling victim to domestic violence
  • Teachers, nurses, and other government workers demand better pay and conditions
  • Women’s issues come into focus
  • Evacuation of sick or injured
  • Food shortages in some countries
  • Violent protests across Western Europe
  • Fatal sports injuries
  • Earthquake, landslide, or volcano eruption near the coast
  • Possibility of new military conflict near an island or a peninsula

The monthly event trends paint a picture of potential challenges and upheavals, ranging from energy disruptions to social unrest. The movement of the monthly Purple White stars into various palaces, with their respective interactions and controls, further highlights areas of concern, such as mental health and the heightened risk of injuries.

For example, the monthly PWS#2 (土Earth) is flying into 乾 Qian Palace (金 Metal). Here it is drained not only by the palace, but also by its components 天心Heart and 开 Open. It is also controlled by the annual PWS#4. Hence, we do not expect it to cause any major or long-lasting health issues.

The monthly PWS#5 in Li may turn nasty, given it is hosted by the annual PWS#7. With the Tiger deity present, this is quite inauspicious. The chances of falls and accidents are higher than usual. Although the Grace star may come to the rescue, it is still a matter of personal luck.

The辛 Xin heavenly stem in Li may symbolise toxins, sharp objects, or injuries. Taking precautions and avoiding unnecessary risks could help, especially if your property has the front door facing or sitting associated with the S direction.

During the 庚午 Geng Wu month, the East sector, associated with the 震 Zhen trigram (Thunder) emerges as the best direction for wealth creation since it is hosting the monthly PWS#8. It could enhance efficiency, help to generate new potent ideas, as well as create new business opportunities.

It is fascinating to see how an ancient system like Qi Men Dun Jia can be applied to interpret and forecast contemporary event trends. While these interpretations are based on traditional notions and practices, it’s essential to approach them with an open mind and consider multiple perspectives when making decisions.
